Opinion Ciatti is on display at Cersaie 2018 The exhibition “The Sound of Design” and more.

Opinion Ciatti will be on stage at Cersaie, the international exhibition of ceramic tile and bathroom furnishings, as part of "The Sound of Design - Italian Style Contract", the collective exhibition organized by Cersaie, from 24 to 28 September 2018.

The main theme of this year’s edition is the connection between music and design. Both being results of a creative process, they are able to stir emotions, they can be timeless, well adapt to current trends and become a driver of new ideas.

The exposition, held in Hall 30, will be divided into 10 different sets – a spa, a wine shop, a theatre or a library each one with its own set up and original soundtrack: a series of songs released between 1976 and 1983 which have established themselves over the years as timeless icons.

Opinion Ciatti has been invited to interpret the library area. The result is “Rock Bibliothèque”, a room with a strong character. A set up where the severity and essentiality of the lines that characterize Ptolomeo booksheves, lining the walls of the space, create a contrast to the bummel outlines and metal finishes of the Tab.u collection pieces. Stools, coffee tables and suspension lamps give a glam feel to the area.

In the middle of the exposition a square, inspired by New York’s studio 54, is built: a very special vantage point from which to view at the whole set up in one sight. Our Mammamia Fur chairs and Ptolomeo Vino wine rack, have been selected to furnish this area. Mamammia Fur by Lapo Ciatti is a chair covered in soft faux fur that immediately transmits a feeling of comfort without relinquishing a touch of glamour. It is the perfect choice for a rest, perhaps in the company of a good glass of wine whose bottle is stored in Ptolomeo Vino: the transformation of the famous Original Ptolomeo bookshelf into a spectacular bottle rack.

"The Sound of Design - Italian Style Contract" by Angelo Dall’Aglio and Davide Vercelli is the title of this year’s collective exhibition at Cersaie. The exhibition celebrates its fifth edition while remaining faithful to its longstanding eclectic approach with a focus on the world of contract furnishing and the excellence of Italian Style.

Cersaie is one of the most important international meetups for new trends in surface design and bathroom furnishings. Five days during which international companies meet architects, designers, contractors and retailers to showcase the new trends in ceramic surfaces, wallpapers, wood flooring, marble and bathroom furnishings.

Opinion Ciatti’s products will be displayed also in Ceramiche Ragno (Hall 20 Stand C52-D51) and Sant’Agostino (Hall 16, Stand B12- C11) booths. In town, during the connected Bologna Design Week, some items will be part of the set up of the deconsecrated Church of Santa Maria della Neve conceived by insidesign . A stunning location with a rich program of events, which in the last years became one of the main venues of the Design week.
