Reflection: this is the keyword with which Opinion Ciatti
will take part in the 61st edition of Salone del Mobile.Milano in the new space
of Pavilion 2 - Stand L23.
A concept that starts from Oodh, the mirror by Lapo Ciatti,
the main product novelty, and that, like a common thread, characterises the
entire presence of the Tuscan company at the 2023 Milan Design Week: from range expansions to new finishes, to the design of the stand itself.
Reflection, therefore, is not just a physical phenomenon
associated with the contact of light with reflective surfaces but gains a
deeper meaning: the human ability to make careful evaluations and analyse
things.
In fact, Oodh, as a mirror, reproduces the image of what is
projected onto it, but like the portals of the Cambodian temples, that it is
inspired to, it is an invitation not to stop at the surface, but to cross its
threshold in search of deeper meanings.
An urgency of analysis that spreads from the mirror to all
the other novelties presented at the fair by Opinion Ciatti.
SUSTAINABILITY, INTEGRATION, VALUES: THESE ARE THE ISSUES ON
WHICH OPINION CIATTI "REFLECTS"
Thus, the reflection shifts to the themes of sustainability
with eco-friendly materials and finishes, and attention to reuse. Examples
include the aluminum chosen to create the new outdoor version of Marcello
Ziliani's Mammamia chair, or the new grey texture of the special
microbiotic-based ecological mortar that covers ILtavolo 2.0 by Lapo Ciatti. Or
also, the launch of the LED version of the suspension lamp LAlampada and the
choice to reuse a large part of the panels already used in the 2022 stand
setup.
A reflection that also involves current social themes such
as the integration and the dialogue between peoples and cultures: thus,
Pacifico, the modular bookcase in its Evolution version, becomes a symbol of
connection, encounter and knowledge.
Finally, a reflection that involves values, as cornerstones
that need protection. Opinion Ciatti delves into its roots by proposing the
Casentino fabric, an excellence of Tuscan craftsmanship, as new coating for all
its seats and by presenting as preview the last two episodes of The Shape of Values, the video project dedicated to the most exclusive and fascinating
creative processes that characterize a large part of the company's products,
that mix of industrial procedures and manual skills that make each project
unique.
Proposals so different yet intimately linked, the result of
constant research and attention to contingent and emerging needs. To offer
products that can always take care of the spaces and the people who live them,
combining maximum functionality with the most authentic style.
