Essential lines, unique materials, a beauty that doesn’t follow the seasons. The new Opinion Ciatti collection, presented at the Milano Design Week 2025, is born from the encounter between nature and design, bringing along an idea of aesthetics and of functionality capable of defying time.
Following the 2024 reflexion concerning the perception of time with “Take your Time”, this year the journey continues with a new perspective: time won’t be a subjective experience, but what transcends it. In a time where the boundary between real and artificial thins out, where fiction and reality continuously blend together, this collection chooses to focus on what, as in nature, happens without imposition or force, but in harmony with immutable cycles and rhythms, those that have always existed and will endure forever.
“Timeless by Nature” celebrates the durable quality, the harmony between past and present, the capacity of evolving without losing one’s identity. A homage to elegant simplicity and to ancestral wisdom, for furniture that will become part of an eternal cycle, just as everything happens in nature.

Among the new entries for 2025 is Axis, the revolutionary modular system by Bruno Pozzi and Marco Duina which, 40 years after its debut, is now ready to celebrate conviviality with a more contemporary design than ever, thanks to the updates envisioned and curated by Lapo Ciatti. Nigelle, the chair designed by Maurizio Galante and Tal Lancman, pays tribute to the enduring craftsmanship of Tuscany and draws inspiration from the lightness and complexity of Renaissance lace. And finally, the outdoor version of ILletto by Lapo Ciatti, where airy curtains and innovative materials invite one to surrender to relaxation and rediscover the pleasure of outdoor living.
Corkcrete, the innovative cork-based mortar with extraordinary performance is taking center stage once again. Durable and resistant, pleasing to the eye and to the touch thanks to its rich texture and excellent thermoregulating properties, it settles lightly and delicately, not only on ILletto, but also on the Axis system. It is also the main focus of the last episode of “The shape of Values” – the video series exploring Ciatti’s most exclusive production techniques – which will premiere at the Salone del Mobile. A fascinating behind-the-scenes that reveals how timeless gestures can be transformed into everyday objects.
