Vanilla is the new collection of desks designed by Raffaella Mangiarotti, a chameleon-like, versatile and functional object.
The starting point is the structure, characterised by rounded lines and totally without edges, on which simple accessories can be applied to completely change its purpose.
Vanilla comes in three variants, each with its own functionality.
In its basic version it is a small bedroom desk or an elegant entrance console, equipped with two side baskets and two shelves with high storage capacity.
All that is needed, however, is an accessory, a cork panel, which serves as a tablet holder or pinboard for notes, for Vanilla to turn into a practical workstation.
In its third guise, Vanilla becomes a charming vanity unit: an illuminated mirror, elegant in its matching frame, transforms it into a piece of furniture with a long tradition. An intimate and personal space in which to take care of oneself that is perfectly suited to both a bathroom and bedroom setting.
To complete Vanilla's expressive value, an undercounter drawer coordinated with the frame adds a discreet space in which to store our secrets, not just those dedicated to the beauty routine.
Vanilla gives the room a special touch of original personality, just as the scent of vanilla sweetens the senses and the characteristic aroma adds depth and complexity to the flavour of many recipes, both sweet and savoury.
Available in three colours – ice grey, dark green and black, all matt – it is equipped with a removable regenerated leather magnetic sopratop, which on the one hand guarantees perfect adhesion and on the other facilitates cleaning of the top. The internal upholstery of baskets, shelves and drawer is also made of regenerated leather, enhancing the elegance of this piece, which with delicate simplicity, aims to be a microcosm serving our desires.
